How To Prepare for O Levels Geography

How to prepare for GCSEs geography

Hello everyone , today i am going to give you tips I used to get an a star in this subject and I hope they will help you guys as well.....

When it comes to learning Geography things get a little different from the way they were in Sciences
The tips i am sharing  today are the practical steps that I followed and I found them  really helpful in getting and A star ..................................

1: MAPS: now A good trick I followed was to cram the maps.... I am from Pakistan so I just crammed the map of Pakistan........ every main city, every main river, every location that in was included in Pakistan's topography and memorize all of the countries that were connected with Pakistan for example the border countries all the main roads and all of the trade route, all main ports like gwadar port...... all of those things because about 20% of Geography portion is from maps so I at the end of the day I was pretty much sure  that I was going to get those 20% marks.

2 :Past papers: the second tip i have is to solve as many past papers as you can......................❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️....... now you will remember that i did  not suggest doing past papers in Pak studies but over here they might help you a lot because  most of the paper is objective so there is no extra time wastage but you get an idea of what kind of questions come in papers and usually when you go through 5 years you see that the questions start repeating and you have a good preparation for .. I did past papers after 2010 till 2019....... all of the past papers and I had a perfect grip over the questions and usually the questions asked in geography are very much general  rather than being specific . i would not suggest going through the specifications because again the content in geography is a lot in excess that needs not to be learnt.๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›

Flash cards: ok so Flashcards are always been my all time companion when  it comes to studying and they did help me in this subject too .............๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ  so i selected  chapters according to the amount of time I had ..... i started in August when the classes started and on every weekend i would go through them and make bullet flashcards of extreme main content like relife and drainge of mountains or desert etc and revise them every weekend too so๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š by the end of the year I was pretty much sure that the whole book was in my head...๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

80/20 rule : ok everybody knows that the 80/20 rules apply everywhere but I would rather say that it fits in this subject more than anything else............... 20% of the syllabus covers 80% of paper ...........for example the agriculture chapter or the tourism chapter literally cover , almost the whole paper so all you need to do is you go through the past papers and crack down the pattren.. then memorize the chapters perfectly .  you will notice that you need not to be a time managing pro in the subject because I find time is plenty Much of us to complete our paper easily.

Starting early: ok so in the Humanities I find that the content is much much more than the Sciences although things are a little conceptual ............but there is a lot of content that you need to memorize and every content is similar to the other one so I would suggest starting memorizing early for example I started memorizing in August i went through  all the chapters............ I had prepared everyday and every week and every month that's how the whole book was in that in my head it's not a game of just a month or two ........yeah if you believe in doing paper on logic sense then you might go as well.....๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ถ

Ok so those wete my top 5 tips I hope they help you and good luck for your papers๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
