In paper they usually give diagrams of alveoli affected by emphysema and we have to detect the disease.

You should know that viruses are inert particles and can only reproduce in other host cells.

make yourself well aware with the labelling of a virus, bacteria and unicellular and multicellular fungus.

You should know that bacteria don't have a true nucleus because the mostly ask it.

You should know that yeast is a unicellular fungus and reproduces by budding multicellular fungi have sports for reproduction.

Decomposers have two advantages one is there remove LAND FILTH SITES and other is they increase fertility of soil.

Make yourself well aware with the process of yoghurt bread cheese and alcohol making the questions related to this section are mostly asked from here.

You should know in bread making carbon dioxide causes the dough to rise and in cheese and yoghurt making, lactic acid curdles the milk proteins, bacteria only play apart in converting lactose to lactic acid .

Make yourself well aware with the labelling of a fermentor

Coming towards the Ecology section make yourself clear with what is the pyramid of numbers Biomass and energy remember that pyramid of energy and Biomass always remain the same.

Simply crame the nitrogen and carbon dioxide cycle most of the questions are asked from here.

Vector of Malaria pathogen plasmodium is" female anopheles mosquito".

Another question they ask is that the mosquito needs to bite twice to a human to transfer the pathogen.

simply memorize the methods of control of malaria and how they are affective.

:"The rest of the things in this section rarely never asked in paper 1".

Yes you should know Methane and carbon dioxide cause greenhouse effect and oxides of Sulphur and nitrogen cause acid rain.

And chlorofluorocarbons are are destroying the ozone layer.

You should know causes of air ,water and land pollution and the ways to solve them.

Ok many questions are asked from the reproduction chapter so first of all  for reproduction in plants make yourself clear with the concept of what is mitosis and meiosis.

You should know that offsprings produced by  mitosis are clones of parents."I will say again to memorise the differences of meiosis and mitosis they are among the most frequently asked questions".

Make yourself clear with labelling of flower and the functions of parts of flower.

Make yourself clear with the difference between an animal pollinated flower and a wind pollinated flower.

You should simply memorize the post fertilization changes of a flower.

Make yourself clear with the labelling of a seed and remember testa is not a part of embryo it's a part of seed. Embryo consists of cotyledons, radicle and plumule.

You should know that conditions for germination are sufficient water, suitable temperature and adequate oxygen supply . Note that light intensity is not needed for germination, they've usually asked.

once they asked a question and the answer was wind dispersal dispersal the seeds or fruits to the farthest

memorize the labelling of male and female reproductive system
Make your mind clear with the menstrual cycle
you should know that on the 14th day from the onset of menstruation there is release of LH and ovulation takes place

make yourself clear with the function of progesterone oestrogen LH and fsh and Corpus luteum.

breast milk has an advantage over bottled milk that it contains antibody

bottled milk has an advantage over breast milk that the milk given to the baby can be calculated.

embryo is formed in oviduct and travels to uterus where it implants in endometrium

semen consists of sperms and fluid secreted by glands.

sperms are produced by testis.

You should know what is down syndrome and you should know that it is because of chromosomal mutation.

You should know competition among species leads to survival of the fittest that leads to natural selection and then evolution.

Practice really well the test process of alleles of blood groups.

These points really cover much of the substance they ask in paper 1 .....hope you have learnt a lot from here if you have learnt all of the things I have mentioned in my four sections then I assure you, you will get above 85% marks in paper 1..... wish you very best luck for your gcses bye.😍😎
